She wears XTRATUF's, and she means it.
The most important day of her life is spent here...
Her Christmas card looks like this.
This is how she landed her man.
This is what turns her on.
She goes to therapy...in her back yard.
This is her dog park.
This is her gym.
A day at the beach looks like this.
She inspects the camping pad like so.
This is her tanning salon.
This is what quality time with her sister looks like.
She baths and does laundry at the same time.
She goes out for drinks with friends.
This is where she works...
This is her lifting weights...
This is her back yard.
She's invisible...and so is her mom.
She IS the big catch.
She enjoys the ride, and appreciates the view.
She goes out for coffee.
Her engagement photos look like this.
This is her bachelorette party - undies blindfold and stick from the beach for the pinata.
She'll be your sensei AND your grasshopper.
This is her work dress code.
She likes hot summer nights, candle lit dinners, long walks on the beach, holding hands, oh - and doing this.
This is the view from her office...
This is her bling.

This is a tribute to my kick-ass Alaskan chicas.
I am so lucky to have the awesomely amazing friends and family that I do - who take life by the horns and truly enjoy the ride.
Fellas, if you are lucky enough to get an AK'n girl interested in you, don't let out that line... snag her and reel her in! because you'll never catch another one like her...
Alaskan girls are unique.
We appreciate our surroundings, we appreciate our communities, we appreciate each other. We are tough, we like to get dirty, and we like to drink beer.
We are independent, we are outspoken, and we wear hoodies.
We hunt, we fish, and we also like flowers delivered and breakfast in bed.
We can drive a boat, we can drive a stick-shift, we can drive you crazy.
Dog is our best friend too.
We work hard, we play hard, and we love harder.
WE will make an honest man out of YOU.
We can pull our own anchor.
We can reel in our own fish.
We can change our own oil.
We own broncos, 4-Runners, and trucks.
We wear wool socks...a lot.
We do shots.
We've got dirt under our fingernails and trophy scars.
We enter arm wrestling contests and we make/take bets. Try us.
We wear the hell out of some long underwear.
We look good in bunny boots.
We will share our sleeping bag.
We call it a snowMACHINE.
We may leave, but we'll always come back.
Because this is our home...and this is our life. This is who we are. Take it or leave it.
We aren't going anywhere.
I once dated a guy who wasn't from here, and he told me that I wasn't like the girls from 'back home'... it may have been the biggest compliment I've ever received. :)
Thank you to my girls who let me post pictures of them
