Hello Web Log World

I actually had to look up what 'blog' meant (yes, maybe I DO need to get out more.) For those of you like me,  turns out it means web log - how creative! :) Now that we've gotten that out of the way...

So this is my first post, i'm a bit nervous about it. I think I will just go ahead and keep it short and sweet and say hello to the world wide web, as a premature 'blogger.' Can I even call myself that yet? Probably not. More like a contributer to this cyber space of people who blast their stuff all over the 'net' hoping people read it and enjoy it. Yeah! I've always been kind've jealous of other bloggers; with awesome pages and awesome things to share with the world. I hope that my little piece of awesomeness will amuse, humor, and maybe even enlighten at least a few people out there (even if it's just my mom... at least I know she will love it.)

A few things about me:

* I love my dogs more than the average "parent."

* I'm a chips-and-salsa-a-holic (taco loco please.)

* I grew up in a small alaskan village, went to a K-12 school, and graduated with a class of 13. I loved it.

* I commercial setnet fished for my dad for 9 summers - then I graduated college and got a "real" job. I hope to do it again some day.

* I'm married to my high school sweetheart. He's still a sweetheart, too.

* I was born with big gums - oh wait, that was Bubba.

* My favorite movie is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation... "Can't see the lines, can ya Russ?"

* My favorite color is green.

* I think I could live off of smoked salmon alone (Mr. Hilbrink, yours is ridiculously tasty. With that said, can I borrow the recipe? thanks.)

* I hate putting the dishes away. I'd rather wash them then put them away. Ugh, makes me angry thinking about it.

* My husband says that I burp like a walrus (gross, but impressive?)

* I have one tattoo.

* I love Alaska.

* I also love Las Vegas.
